2011

The Beginning

SignalGuard Security was founded by two security industry veterans who wanted to bring honest, expert service to Ottawa homeowners tired of big-box installations and confusing contracts.

2014

First 100 Clients

Word spread fast about our clean installations and exceptional service. We hit our first 100 clients and expanded our team to include dedicated installation and support specialists.

2017

Commercial Division Launched

Demand from local businesses led us to launch a dedicated commercial security division — including enterprise CCTV, access control, and integrated alarm systems.

2020

Smart Home Era

We expanded into smart home integration, becoming certified installers for major platforms including Google Home, Alexa, and Apple HomeKit. Our clients wanted one ecosystem — we delivered it.

2023

New Walkley Rd Headquarters

We moved into our new modern office and showroom at 102-1830 Walkley Rd, giving us the space to better serve our growing Ottawa family.
